Transfusion Equipment Sales Rep

We are working with a startup company who came into being in order to solve a problem in the hospital transfusion space. You hear this a lot, but they truly do have a disruptive technology that not only creates better patient outcomes but will also save hospitals time and money. If you are a risk taker who thrives in an early stage start up, please keep reading.

Our client is looking for a hunter sales rep to launch their small capital and accompanying disposables. It will be a multi-state territory and overnight travel will be required. 


  • You will lead the critical stages of the sales lifecycle within your assigned customer base.
  • You will create your total territory coverage strategy
  • Develop long term customer relationships to further support and drive capital sales-based activities: prospecting, qualifying, account management, and providing sales support to customer base.
  • Prepare accurate territory business plans, forecasts, and sales reports



  • Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of previous sales experience in the transfusion medicine space, preferably in blood bank with an emphasis on platelets.
  • Strong business acumen and strong relationships in the blood bank space preferred. Blood Bank Lab Directors, Transfusion Safety Officers, and Transfusion Medical Directors are key in this sale.
  • We are open to someone coming from a MT or SBB (ASCP) background but you will need to have already transitioned in sales.
  • Must be a hunter, risk taker and love to travel.
