Job Description:

Our client is an established, well-respected and publicly traded company. They are currently looking for an Infusion Clinical Specialist to cover the New England area. 

The Clinical Sales Specialist is responsible for working in a team environment in order to achieve sales goals in a complex clinical sales role dealing with capital medical devices and software that require long sales cycles. The ideal candidate will have a strong will to win with a desire to consult with health systems and from clinical users to C Suite, regarding infusion therapy best practices, current and emerging trends and best practices to support and ensure better patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • You will provide sales consultation and work flow analyses  related to IV medication safety processes and best practices with existing and potential acute care hospital customers;
  • You will work with and support a team of sales representatives and sales management to maximize and prioritize sales opportunities. 
  • Identifies current areas of IV technology and practice  inefficiencies, safety concerns, infusion sales revenue opportunities, cost reduction and regulatory non-compliance.
  • You will relay information directly from the customers to internal teams regarding client experience, value obtained and product improvement opportunities. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree and a critical care nursing background is mandatory for this position. 
  • 7+ years of experience with acute care hospital IV Infusion  practices, IV therapy assessments, patient throughputs, nursing practices, IV medication administration.
  • Strong organization, presentation and training, and communication skills will be required.
  • Ability to travel a multi-state territory as needed - up to 75% overnights.
