Job Description:

We have partnered with a well-known and respected global manufacturer of capital, consumable and medical device products. This Marketing Manager position is focused on Business Development and will drive product launch, positioning and sales objectives for a recently acquired new product therapy to improve the health of critical care patients with respiratory issues.

This is a hands-on role and will require 30-40% overnight travel and you can be located in the North East as long as you are close to a major airport. This individual will interface with departments across this global organization, as well as with third party companies and Clinical Support and Trials Manager for new product development.

Responsibilities:

  • Emphasize both strategic marketing (market trends, revenue opportunity) as well as responsibility for the tactical execution of actions required in launching a new solution offering to the critical care market.
  • Responsible for establishing new and emerging therapy.
  • As market acceptance grows, you will develop the go-to-market strategy to meet growth expectations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members and customers to build and advance a viable  business model. 
  • Continue development of the business case based on  clinical evidence, regulatory pathways and market conditions.
  • Deep understanding of reimbursement processes to create additional market demand for this new therapy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Respiratory Care or equivalent. MBA preferred.
  • 8+ years of business development or marketing. Clinical experience in critical care focused on mechanical ventilation.
  • Scientific, clinical, and business aspects of project management are critical to success. A high degree of intellectual curiosity and structured critical thinking is necessary.
  • Self-starter mentality with high level of motivation and willingness to take initiative, ability to communicate complex concepts to team, senior leadership, and customers.
